Despite the fact that only two walls of the powerful fortress with many towers are now left, Kolomna is incredibly proud of its Kremlin. And not without reason: during the raids of the Golden Horde, it was the Kolomna Kremlin that was the main defender of Moscow. This beautiful and reliable stone fortress never submitted to enemies.
Walk around the grounds of the glorious Kremlin and see the high walls. Picturesquely spread out on the banks of the rivers Moscow and Kolomenka, churches and monasteries – Novogolutvinsky and Uspensky – will pacify even the most anxious observer. Near the walls of the fortress you can meet reenactors in historical costumes. Maybe you will be lucky to see a demonstration fight, or just get a photo as a keepsake.
